Robert Griffin III Has Dislocated Ankle, Season Could Be Over

Robert Griffin III, Washington’s franchise quarterback, suffered a dislocated ankle in the team’s win over Jacksonville, and it appears his season is over. The team just announced that RGIII would be out indefinitely, and backup Kirk Cousins would be taking over.

Cousins threw for 250 yards, two touchdowns and most importantly, had zero turnovers, in a 41-10 pounding of the Jaguars.

The Redskins are 1-1.

Griffin, after an incredible rookie year in which he led the Redskins to the playoffs, struggled through injuries in his second season and played poorly in 13 games. What happens if Cousins takes the Redskins to the playoffs this year?
