Ryan Raburn, Cleveland's Right Fielder, Threw a Perfect Ninth Inning Against the Tigers [GIFs]

Ryan Raburn, a Cleveland outfielder, came in to pitch the ninth inning against Detroit in a 10-2 blowout Thursday. Raburn, unlike Twins’ utility man Jamey Carroll, managed to throw some heat and almost broke into the 90s with his fastball. Throwing only 14 pitches and producing a 1-2-3 inning for the Indians may have earned Raburn a new spot in the Indians’ relief rotation in the future.

Bryan Pena hit a ground ball to first and Raburn was there to cover the bag perfectly.

Matt Tuiasosopo pinch hit for Ramon Santiago and managed to miss an 89 mph Raburn fastball that blew past him for strike three.

Brayan Pena took a first pitch ball and then grounded out to second, ending Raburn’s perfect inning.
