The All-Star break is almost here so we’ve decided to take a look back at some of the best catches made in the first half of the season. Here are just ten of those catches and plus one almost catch.
1. Ben Revere, Phillies’ center fielder, goes full extension to rob Reds’ third baseman Todd Frazier of extra bases. This is probably the best catch of the season. (Full play)
2. Mike Trout, Angels’ left fielder, lays out and takes a hit away from Pirates’ first baseman Gaby Sanchez. (Full play)
3. Carl Crawford, Dodgers’ left fielder, slams into the wall after grabbing a line drive from Angels’ third baseman Alberto Callaspo. (Full play)
