Things Got Kinda Heated Between Dwight Howard and the Nuggets Mascot

Dwight Howard and Rocky, the Denver Nuggets mascot, found themselves in a hard pose off as their respective teams were embroiled in a one-point game midway through the fourth quarter. Eventually Rocky stepped up, and Dwight knocked him over with a light kick to the face that I was hoping would be a lot more akin to Shawn Michaels’ sweet chin music. Had the Rockets not wound up winning in overtime, I’m sure we all would have been delighted by the echo chamber of hot-takes arising from Dwight Howard’s horsing around late in a close game.
