Tim Williams Arrest: Marijuana in Car Belonged to "Brandon Chicken"

Tim Williams, a senior linebacker for the Alabama Crimson Tide, was arrested early Thursday morning outside Publix. Williams was sitting in the passenger seat of his car, with the gun under the seat. Police found marijuana under the driver’s seat, which a friend was in. Via AL.com:

"Police officers were doing a normal patrol when they smelled marijuana coming from Williams’ vehicle, according to sources. A passenger, who was not an Alabama football player, said the marijuana was his, but the officer then found the pistol under Williams’ seat while searching the car, according to sources."

Williams said he had a paper permit for the gun, but didn’t have it on him. The driver took ownership of the marijuana, saying he was holding it for a friend, who according to court records, was named “Brandon Chicken.” So, there’s the meme that will emerge from this situation.
