Todd Gurley Suffered a Knee Injury in Georgia Win Over Auburn [UPDATE]
By Michael Shamburger
Georgia’s Todd Gurley suffered a left knee injury against Auburn in the 4th quarter of a 34-7 win over #9 Auburn. Gurley took a handoff to the left side of the line and made a cut to his right off of his left leg and immediately grabbed at his knee. He was helped to the sideline and did not return. ESPN’s Holly Rowe reported that Gurley was up walking around on the sideline with ice on the knee.
[UPDATE: Gurley suffered a torn ACL. His season – and college career, likely – are over.]
