Tulsa Recovered a Surprise Onside Kick, Completed Hail Mary Against Oklahoma
By Kyle Koster

Oklahoma enjoyed a 31-10 lead over Tulsa with less than a minute remaining in the first half. Then the Golden Hurricanes got tricky. After scoring on a long passing touchdown, Tulsa surprised the Sooners with an onside kick. With just nine seconds left before halftime, Dane Evans’ Hail Mary heave found the hands of Keyarris Garrett.
" THIS is how you end the 1st half! #HailMary #16 Oklahoma leads Tulsa 31-24 at the break. #TULSAvsOU https://t.co/2DWTpVfUhr — FS1 (@FS1) September 19, 2015 "
All of this apparently came as a huge surprise to Sooners defensive coordinator Mike Stoops.
So @Key_Garrett1 makes an exceptional TD grab. Mike Stoops in end zone goes nuts, in front of my shot. Some very foul language used.

Best part, Mike Stoops comes down from the box, asking what happened. Had no idea TU recovered squid kick. Then goes nuts when catch is made

Wild, wild stuff. And a good way to cap off a half that saw the two teams combine for 863 total yards.
