USC Players Fighting in the Locker Room after the Bowl Loss?
By Jason McIntyre

After USC was embarrassed by Georgia Tech in the Sun Bowl, several Trojans reportedly brawled in the locker room. Heather Brittany, a USC grad and budding lawyer, tweeted out some details:
Wow. Hearing that Mcdonald and Tony Burnett got into it... Which then basically turned into the whole team throwing blows. Heartbreaking.

Hearing that coaches were punched too. And Haden saw the entire thing. Anyway Kiffin makes it out of this?

Her mentions blew up and people raged it was just a baseless rumor. McDonald, who will get drafted in April, even reacted.
Just to clarify, those rumors about our locker room are false, n if u don't believe me over a "source"...smh

Now, two weeks later, the LA Daily News is on the case:
"Moments after USC lost to Georgia Tech 21-7 in the Sun Bowl, about 10 to 15 Trojans players were involved in a locker room altercation, according to sources. The incident started when some freshmen questioned the leadership of the team’s seniors and whether they gave 100 percent effort for the Sun Bowl. This led to an argument that eventually escalated according to witnesses. “It was one of the worst things I’ve seen in a locker room,” said a player who did not wish to be identified."
For a veteran team that returned over a dozen starters and was the consensus preseason No. 1 (Duffy and Lisk didn’t fall for it, though), this is a complete embarrassment. Lane Kiffin will need to repair the locker room before he worries about other issues, like picking a QB and finding a defensive coordinator to replace his dad.
