VIDEO: Jason Day Appears to Injure Back at WGC-Dell Match Play

This doesn’t look good for Jason Day. Day, who is facing off against Graeme McDowell in the WGC-Dell Match Play, appears to have injured himself at some point. Heading into the par-5 16th hole, Day had been rubbing his back, but after his tee shot, he looked to be in obvious pain.

This is a bad sign for a guy who won just last week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and is two weeks away from the Masters. Hopefully it’s nothing serious and Day can play through it or fix it with simple treatments.

Day has suffered from previous injuries on the course, as well as vertigo.
