VIDEO: Shawn Kemp's Son Looks Like a Smaller Version of "Reign Man"

Shawn Kemp has a(nother) son who is pretty good at basketball. Jamon Kemp is a 15-year old playing 16U AAU for the Washington Supreme. This little highlight mixtape shows a good passer who at 6’5″ is a dunker and a shot-blocker. Though, he’s not quite on the same level as his dad.

Sports Illustrated famously reported that Kemp had seven children by six different women in an article that came out almost 18 years ago. Kemp’s oldest son, Shawn Kemp Jr. played at Washington.

According to the e-mail we received, Jamon Kemp shined as a defensive stopper during the tournament. The fact that Shawn Kemp’s son is considered a defensive stopper while Gary Payton’s son is well-known for his dunking ability amuses me greatly. Not as much as a compilation of Payton to Kemp lobs amuses me, but still.
