Wife of OKC Thunder Assistant Coach Monty Williams Killed in Car Accident

Tragic news from Oklahoma City on Wednesday afternoon as we learned Ingrid Williams, the wife of current Oklahoma City Thunder Assistant Coach and former New Orleans Pelicans Head Coach Monty Williams, died on Wednesday in a car crash.

The franchise released a statement this afternoon in wake of the news:
"“The Thunder organization has heavy hearts tonight with the news of Ingrid’s passing … Words cannot adequately describe how deep our sorrow is for the loss of Monty’s wife. Our thoughts and prayers are with Monty and his family, and we will support him in every way possible. We know the entire community of Oklahoma City has them in their prayers.”"
Ingrid, 44, leaves behind five children.
