By the process of elimination, that would seem to mean the no. 2 overall pick — which would probably be a choice between Jahlil Okafor and D’Angelo Russell — would be the key asset returning to the Kings. Nothing’s official yet, or even necessarily close, but these talks have been brewing for a day or two now, and the idea of Kobe Bryant and Boogie Cousins playing together is an interesting one to think about.
