Wyndham Championship Tee Times: Woods, Koepka, Horschel, Scott, and Dufner

With all of the major tournaments over, the end of the golf season is getting closer. The Wyndham Championship is the final pre-FedExCup event. It’s held at the par-70 Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina, and is significant for a number of golfers who are looking to continue their season, namely, Tiger Woods.

Along with Tiger, a couple of top 20 players in the FedExCup standings are in the field in Adam Scott (12th), Brooks Koepka (16th), and Hideki Matsuyama (19th), but if you’re hoping for a major championship feel again this week, sorry, you’re out of luck even though the field does contain several former major champions.

Defending champion Camilo Villegas currently sits at 129th in the FedEx Cup standings and will need to jump at least three players to extend his season. Tiger Woods is currently 187th with 147 points, the projected cut for the Barclays is 451 points, meaning Tiger will pretty much need to win and collect 500 points to keep his season alive. Finishing alone in second would net him 300 points, just outside the projected line with 447 points.
