Barry Zito's Having a Terrible Season, But He Seems to Be Doing Well Off the Field (As Usual)

I haven’t seen every episode of ‘the Franchise,’ but the reader claims Zito hasn’t mentioned her on the show. That’s odd, since those sports-related reality shows tend to eat up the girlfriend/wives angle (think Hard Knocks). The show has shown Zito doing Yoga, though.

Zito’s 3-4 this year – the closest he’s been to .500 since 2006 – with an ERA of 5.62. He’ll probably end this season with a career-low in innings pitched due to an early-season trip to the DL. He’s struggled to crack the rotation since, and recently, he was put back on the DL with a foot injury. More important than his ability to pitch, Zito’s got a rich history of dating actresses, including Alyssa Milano and Hilary Duff.
