Fan Falls to Death at Candlestick Park During Packers-49ers Game

A fan attending today’s game at Candelstick Park fell to his death off a walkway shortly after kickoff. The fan fell from an elevated pedestrian walkway that surrounds the stadium. Witnesses described the man, believed to be in his early thirties, as appearing intoxicated before he fell off the walkway onto the sidewalk below.
