Middle-Aged Red Sox Fan Needs to Work on his Hands, Takes Foul Ball to the Face

The things fans are willing to do to try to come away from a baseball game with a foul ball. Here’s this poor Red Sox fan who takes a ball bouncing off the tarp right in the kisser during Saturday’s Boston win over Tampa in the ALDS.

Ouch.

Baseball fans have been overly critical of TBS’ coverage during the playoffs, at least their mics picked up the sound the ball made smacking of this unfortunate guy. At least he wasn’t wearing a glove, not that it would have made much difference on that nasty hop.
