Brian Wilson Won't Shave His Beard, Won't Play for the Yankees
By Mike Cardillo

If you thought the stories about beards and baseball were going to fade away after the Red Sox finished celebrating their World Series championship, you’re wrong. Very wrong.
Free spirit free-agent reliever Brian Wilson reportedly ruled himself out from signing with the Yankees due to the club’s long-standing anti-beard policy. This is … good news? (Takes another look at Wilson.) Yeah, this is probably good news for the Bombers, regardless of how well he pitched for the Dodgers this season coming off elbow surgery.
You can rule out Brian Wilson to the Yankees. Agent tells Brian Cashman that Wilson won't shave his beard. Seriously.
