Timofey Mozgov Rejected This Rudy Gay Dunk Attempt, and Gay Hit the Floor Hard

Timofey Mozgov, who once was a Knick, had the NBA’s best block over the weekend, thwarting this Rudy Gay dunk attempt. I bring up that Mozgov was once a Knick because New York is 3-13, tied for the second worst record in the NBA and they certainly could use his defense. The Knicks haven’t won since Tyson Chandler went down with an injury, and they don’t defense, are disgustingly inept offensive, and coach Mike Woodson could be fired soon.

After beating Toronto, the Nuggets are 10-6 and an intriguing team because JaVale McGee is out, and Danilo Gallinari hasn’t suited up yet this season. This week will be telling: They take an East Coast swing through Brooklyn, Cleveland, Boston, Philadelphia and Washington, five very winnable games. Remember how people kept asking who ‘won’ the Carmelo Anthony trade the last few years? It’s pretty clear New York didn’t come out the victor.
