Steve Lappas and noted Syracuse alum Andrew Catalon called Thursday night’s game between UConn and Houston on CBS Sports Network. Even the adorable new puppy mascot couldn’t make this one interesting as UConn rolled, 80-43. After signing off, the camera lingered on the Harry A. Gampel Pavilion and someone forgot to cut Steve Lappas’ microphone. So we got to hear him express his real feelings about the game.

"“That was awful. Oh my God. Jeez.”"

No swearing. Nothing specifically said about any players or coaches. Nobody is going to get in trouble! CBS probably won’t even have to issue a half-hearted public apology.
