Kevin Durant capped his MVP-worthy 1st half with a 43-point, 12-rebound night against the Lakers in a narrow Thunder win. Nineteen of those points came in the 4th quarter. Heading into the All-Star break, here are the pertinent numbers for Durant and the Thunder:

* OKC is 43-12, best record in the NBA
* The Thunder have won 15 of their last 17
* The Thunder are a staggering 22-8 without Russell Westbrook
* Durant is averaging 31.5 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 5.5 apg for the season
* Durant has an outside shot at the 50/40/90 mark: 51& FGs, 41% on three-pointers and 88% on FTs
* My favorite KD 1st half highlight isn’t when he scored 54 – it’s when he yelled to Portland he was going to “take this shit over” and then he did
