The crucial stat for tonight’s NCAA championship game has finally arrived, and now we know the all-time record for cat mascots versus dog mascots in college hoops is 2-1 in favor of the cats. For that, we are all wiser. Though cats beating dogs in anything feels tragically wrong.
In a few hours, regardless of who wins, we will be able to shout from rooftop to rooftop that a team with blue in its logo has indeed won the NCAA tournament.
