Atletico Madrid’s Diego Costa missed a penalty during the club’s 2-0 win over Getafe. The full moon behind the net may be to blame.
Madrid’s other team holds a three-point lead over Real Madrid in the Primera Liga table with five matches to play. They play at Barcelona, currently four points behind, on the season’s final day. They have also reached the Champions League semifinals. Not a bad year.
