Hard not to feel for Bango here after 15 devoted years of being Bango. Just look at that face. Have a little compassion for the sincerity of those eyes and antlers, people.
Would also like to note I very much enjoy that we live in an era where “Report: Milwaukee Bucks Mascot Bango to Retire” is an actual headline. It’s the “report” part that gets me. As if there’s a steady stream of grumblings from the world of mascots and this just happens to be the latest juicy nugget.
