Mark DeRosa retired during the offseason ending a 16-year career in baseball. The Blue Jays wanted DeRosa to return, but he instead chose to join the MLB Network as an analyst. The picture on the right is DeRosa’s final Topps baseball card. It shows him catching a football. And he looks quite happy doing it. Perhaps he was catching the football that Nolan Ryan threw in his 1989 Upper Deck card.
