Brandon Marshall’s offseason training regimen apparently includes sprinting at obscene speeds for several seconds at a time. He was able to accomplish the feat of running 24 miles per hour — which translates to a 2.5-minute mile — for a couple seconds without turning into roadkill, which is rather miraculous when you really think about it. Nevertheless, it’s not a record — Chad Johnson ran at the same speed last year, while Robert Gill hit 25 MPH.
And, though it wasn’t on a treadmill, Usain Bolt reportedly topped out at 27.78 MPH in his world-record 200 meter dash.
