Yesterday, we found out the USMNT was a little bit country. Today, since Rock and Roll is dead, we found out the USMNT is a little bit hip hop, as if that was not already manifest. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson was on GMA, hastening his transition toward the “Ice Cube Kids Movie Paycheck” stage of his career (and away from this first pitch). The USMNT presented him with a customized England USA jersey. He’ll look super cool sporting it at his local craft beer serving establishment.

This photo embodies what are sure to become the enduring USMNT themes from this tournament: mutual, simulated enthusiasm, top buttoning and male pattern baldness.
