Justin Blackmon, Previously Suspended Indefinitely by the NFL, Arrested For Marijuana Possession
Justin Blackmon is not making a great case for NFL reinstatement. Blackmon, who served a suspension to start the 2013 NFL season and finished the season with an indefinite suspension for violation of the league’s substance abuse policy, was arrested again on Wednesday night following a traffic stop. Police smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the car and found an unspecified amount of marijuana inside the car during a search.
The Jaguars were prepared to use Blackmon if he was reinstated this season, but they probably won’t have to worry about making that decision now. Blackmon also has two DUI arrests – one from 2010 when he was at Oklahoma State and one in 2012 after he was drafted by the Jaguars.
