Jaguars Owner Shad Khan in a Hawaiian Shirt, Drinking From a Coconut
Shad Khan appears on the cover of a Florida-based magazine this month. According to VOID (excellent name for a Florida publication), the area is prepared to being their “annual obsession over wins and losses, touchdowns and fumbles.” That does not sound like an enjoyable obsession for anyone following the Jacksonville Jaguars. The good news this season? “The aura of the team feels like it’s full steam ahead into eventual winning seasons and possibly playoff contention.”
Last season the Jaguars won 4 games and scored an NFL-low 25 touchdowns. However, they did have a meager -6 turnover differential which was only tied for 24th in the league. Hey! Now that’s something they can build on. No wonder the owner is sipping a flowery drink from a coconut and sporting his best cabana wear. The sunglasses? Oh, he’s wearing those because the future is so damn bright.
