Rob Bironas Was Reported Missing by His Wife the Night He Died

Rob Bironas, the former Titans kicker, passed away over the weekend in a single-car accident. The Tennessean published this 911 call in which a woman alleges that Bironas tried to run her husband and her off the road moments before his fatal crash. They pulled over and let him pass. Her phone call came after she saw Bironas’ wreck:

“I just wanted to tell the police because there’s something wrong with him,” the woman said, at the 2:50-mark. “He’s dangerous — he’s drunk or he’s on drugs. There’s something wrong with him. He gave us a mean look. We don’t even know him, and he tried to run us off the road.”

“The report from this citizen is part of the investigation,” a police spokesman told the Tennessean’s Jim Wyatt. “A statement from her will be a part of the investigation.”

In another strange twist, Rachel Bradshaw, who was married to Bironas, reported him missing Saturday night.

"Bradshaw said Bironas told her “goodnight” at 10:30 p.m. and she thought he went to bed. After a few moments, she went to check on him and could not find him. She tried to call him and when she could not reach him she called relatives. No one had talked with him so she called police."
