Brad Marchand Gets First Dirty Play of the Year Out of the Way in the Preseason

Brad Marchand is one of the more annoying players in the NHL, to put it as nicely as possible. Here he is – in a preseason game – going high on a check of the Islanders’ Matt Donovan. Marchand turns a check into a punch to the back of Donovan’s head while leaving his feet and jumping on the defenseman. Marchand was assessed a two-minute penalty for cross-checking.
