Jake Peavy Wasn't Too Happy With Himself For Bouncing a Pitch
By Mike Cardillo
Jake Peavy bounced a pitch to Omar Infante during the second inning of Game 2 of the World Series. The veteran Giants righty didn’t like it. He didn’t like it at all, at least from what the Fox microphones and cameras were able to pick up.
Infante later doubled to left and scored on Alcides Escobar’s double to right. The Kauffman Stadium crowd drowned out whatever reaction Peavy had on the hit that put the Royals ahead 2-1 — their first lead of the World Series.
