Darrell Arthur barely broke a sweat before he got ejected against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Arthur entered the game with the Nuggets down 19-7 and immediately missed a three. A few minutes later, with the Cavs us 37-20, Dion Waiters drove the lane for an uncontested dunk. Arthur just shoved him. Waiters fell, hard and awkwardly. It was scary, but Waiters was OK.

Arthur was given a flagrant-2 and ejected. He should now be waiting for his suspension. The play most similar to this one is Andrew Bynum elbowing J.J. Barea. Bynum got 5 games for his dangerous cheap shot. There’s no reason to believe Arthur should get any fewer.
