Luis Suárez Scored His First Goal for Barcelona vs. APOEL
By Mike Cardillo
Luis Suarez scored his first goal for Barcelona Tuesday in the Champions League vs. APOEL. Barcelona already clinched a spot in the Round of 16 so the stakes in the game were low, but a goal is a goal. The turn by Suarez off the hip of the APOEL defender was impressive.
Lionel Messi was on target for Barcelona, which leads 2-0 at the half. The goal was his 72nd in the Champions League, moving him past Raul for first all-time.
