What you see here is perfectly legal defense by Xavier’s Dee Davis. He pokes the ball away from a hard-charging Desi Rodriguez of Seton Hall before clawing about his face like an overly aggressive cat.
How do we know this behavior is within the rules? Because no foul was called.
The action played right into the hands of one-liner enthusiast Bill Raftery, who was quick with a joke.
