Here's the Argument Against Jumping Over the Catcher to Avoid a Tag

Lake City High School in South Carolina beat Wilson High School on Tuesday, 5-2. The game included this play at the plate where Lake City’s Keenan Graham tried to hurdle Wilson catcher, Mason Park. Park was not about to be the victim of a hurdling, so he stood up and dumped Graham on his head.

Morning News Online photographer Veasey Conway  somehow captured this play frame-by-frame. I recommend going to the site and clicking through the images really fast. It’s spectacular. Especially, when you stop to look at the reactions of the umpire. And the player backing up the play at the plate. And the kid who got dumped on his head.
