Floyd Mayweather - Manny Pacquiao Referee Will Only Make $25,000 For the Fight
By Jason McIntyre

The referee for the May 2nd “fight of the century” between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will make just $25,000 for the fight according to ESPN.
Why is that relevant? Because in a fight where the fighters will split – unevenly – somewhere in the neighborhood of $250-$300 million, it leaves the door wide open for doubt. So what are the judges going to be paid?
As Darren Rovell notes, Mayweather and Pacquiao will make $23,148 per second in the fight.
Mayweather-Pacquiao ref Kenny Bayless will make $25K for fight. Manny & Floyd will each make at least $23,148 PER SECOND

For an event that lasts less than 90 minutes, $25,000 is a fantastic haul. But in a corrupted sport where greed rules, this is a paltry figure.
