The Cleveland Cavaliers completed a four-game sweep of the Boston Celtics, but lost Kevin Love in the process. The forward injured his shoulder in the first quarter after tangling with Boston’s Kelly Olynyk and did not return.

The severity of his injury will soon be known. Casual observers can agree a human shoulder shouldn’t pop out like that.

As you’d imagine, Love isn’t too happy.

“I thought it was a bush-league play,” he told reporters after the game. “I have no doubt in my mind that he did it on purpose.”

Nothing subtle there.

Reasonable minds can view the play and come up with different opinions on Olynyk’s intent. That said, it seemed pretty tame when compared with J.R. Smith’s wicked back-swipe.
