Gas is Erupting From a Water Hazard at a Golf Course in Canada

How about this for a new hazard to avoid on a golf course, gas eruptions? The video above was shot on June 17th at Indian Hills Golf Club in Lambton Shores, Ontario, Canada. At some point over the weekend, gas began erupting from underneath a water hazard on the 11th hole. This made the hole a lot more interesting and a lot more unsafe.

On June 19th, the course posted the message below to their Facebook page.

The situation has apparently calmed down, but the course remains closed for obvious safety reasons.

I guess this is up there with the sink-hole at Top of the Rock Golf Course in Branson, Missouri.
