Rickie Fowler Slams Swing Critics on Instagram, "I'm the one out here playing"

Rickie Fowler’s flat backswing has been criticized in the past, and he’s been working with coach Butch Harmon on correcting it, but it’s not so much of an issue that it’s been detrimental to his game. Fowler collected wins at THE PLAYERS Championship, after learning that he was voted on of the most overrated players on Tour, Scottish Open, and Deutsche Bank Championship this past season. And lets not forget his four top five finishes in majors last season.

On Wednesday morning, on a picture the PGA Tour posted to Instagram, the backswing critics came out and Fowler didn’t care for their remarks.

Fowler’s response?

There’s not really any doubt about who would win should Fowler tee it up against the weekend warriors, and I’d love to see it happen.
