" All in the family. Jason Day wins THE PLAYERS Championship. https://t.co/H5YfzIlYoP — PGA TOUR (@PGATOUR) May 15, 2016 "

Jason Day won the 2016 PLAYERS Championship in pretty unbelievable fashion. Day went wire-to-wire for the third time in his career, the other two came at the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill in March and at the BMW Championship last September. Day is the first player to go wire-to-wire in three tournaments in a nine month span. That is simply amazing.

Day finished at 15-under, four strokes better than second place. With the win, he became the first Austrailian to win 10 tournaments before the age of 30.

Behind Day was a hard-charging Ken Duke, who was ranked 495th coming into the tournament (just a few spots higher than Tiger Woods); Justin Thomas, who turned in an absolutely amazing seven-under, 65 on Sunday; and Kevin Chappell, who finished alone in second place at 11-under.

Day has won an astounding seven tournaments in his last 17 events.

Safe to say he is definitely THE BEST golfer in the world right now.
