Curtis Partch, a pitcher with the Louisville Bats, unlocked a rare baseball achievement Monday night in a Triple A game with the Charlotte Knights. Partch managed to nail the batter, catcher and umpire with a single pitch. The ricochets left the catcher and ump worse for wear than the batter.

The paraphrase the late, great Rodney Dangerfield, Partch “should have yelled three.”

Partch was called up by the Reds Tuesday after Jay Bruce went on the bereavement list.
