Bill Belichick on Deflated Footballs: "I have no explanation for what happened"
By Jason McIntyre

Bill Belichick has finally spoken about the deflated football controversy from the AFC Championship game, and not surprisingly, he was shocked to learn about the under-inflated footballs and he has no explanation for what happened.
“I was shocked to learn of the news reports of the footballs, I had no knowledge of this whatsoever until Monday morning,” Belichick told the media mob. “I have no explanation for what happened. I’ve never touched a game ball. In my entire coaching career, I have never talked to any player, staff member about football air pressure. That is not a subject that I have ever brought up.”
Belichick did a terrific job passing the controversy on to his quarterback, Tom Brady. That’s where we’re headed next.
