Calvin Johnson Didn't Dance on a Football Field, But Will Now Be on "Dancing With the Stars"

Calvin Johnson will be appearing on Dancing with his Stars, according to Entertainment Tonight, instead of playing with the Detroit Lions. He’ll join Ryan Lochte, along with Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez. Oh, and we are burying the lede here: Ice is back with this brand new edition, as Vanilla Ice will also be appearing on the show.
As for Calvin Johnson, I suppose he was a slightly better choice to dance than fellow retiree Peyton Manning. But not by much. Johnson wasn’t exactly known for his post-touchdown celebrations, and in an ESPN segment, his wife revealed that it’s because he couldn’t dance.
