Donte Whitner ($28 Million) and Karlos Dansby ($24 Million) are Headed to the (Dangerous?) Browns
By Jason McIntyre
In addition to Whitner, the Browns added Arizona linebacker Karlos Dansby (4 years, $24 million, $14 million guaranteed) to fill the hole left when they released D’Qwell Jackson last week. Dansby, 32, has had a solid career with the Cardinals and Dolphins.
It’ll be interesting to see what Cleveland does to bolster its meek offense. It still has no quarterback or running back. Maybe new coach Mike Pettine decided new GM Ray Farmer should build up the defense first, then focus on the offense?
