Russian goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev was viewed as a strength heading into the 2014 World Cup. Not tonight. His muff of Lee Keunho’s shot from distance gave South Korea the lead. Russia would eventually equalize for a 1-1 draw.
Not ruled an own goal, but that won’t help it in perception. Brutal.
