In early August some compromising photos of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones first appeared online. It was later revealed the photos were taken in 2009. The women involved hired lawyers. Jones only comment on the photos was that they were “misrepresented.”

Tuesday a million dollar lawsuit was filed by Jana Weckerly and her attorney Thomas Bowers. The Dallas Morning News reports that Weckerly took the photos in question. In the suit, Weckerly accuses the Cowboys owner of sexual assault during the 2009 incident in question.

"Jana Weckerly, 27, from Ardmore, Okla., said Jones fondled her genitals, forced her to touch or rub his penis, and required she watch as the 71-year-old Jones received oral sex from another woman. Weckerly is seeking more than $1 million in punitive damages."

The Morning News also reports the lawsuit says Jones tried to cover up the incident.

Pro Football Talk received a statement from Jones’ lawyer, Levi McCathern, who called the lawsuit a “money grab” and an attempt to “extort” the Cowboys owner.

However this plays out, it’s obviously another rough headline for the NFL.
