LeBron James Married Savannah Brinson in San Diego, Jay Z and Beyoncé Performed

LeBron James married his longtime girlfriend Savannah Brinson this weekend in San Diego. The couple who have two children and have been together since high school, got engaged just after midnight on New Year’s Day in 2012.  The wedding was a three day event with around 200 guests, culminating with a Sunday brunch. The actual wedding took place under tents and guests used umbrellas to hide their identities from helicopters flying overhead. (Anyone else having flashbacks to their wedding?)

Guests included Heat teammates, owner Micky Arison, and coach Erik Spoelstra, who likely gave his star player a talk about the birds and the bees. Jay Z and Beyoncé were also in attendance. In fact, Beyoncé flew in for the wedding between shows in Brazil to perform Crazy in Love with Jay Z. Seeing the 2003 smash hit performed live was a close second to the DJ playing “The Fox” for guests’ favorite song of the night.
