Non-League English Soccer Game Descends into Brawl After Keeper Confronts Fan in Stands
By Mike Cardillo

If you only watch one video from the Ryman Premier League — the seventh tier of English soccer — today, make sure it’s this strange confrontation between a goalie and fans. After Kingstonian beat Bognor Regis Town 2-1, keeper Rob Tolfrey went into the stands to confront a fan and wound up sparking a melee that warranted a police response. Details of the incident remain murky, but the Daily Mail reports that one Kingstonian player tweeted afterward that the Bognor Regis fan punched Tolfrey in the face, before the video begins.
In any event, this isn’t a good look for anyone involved.
