The Cavs Think Austin Carr's Retired Jersey Got Stolen During WWE Monday Night Raw

The above photo, which shows Austin Carr’s retired no. 34 jersey, was not taken in the past two days because Carr’s banner is not presently hanging in the rafters. It’s gone, and Clevescene.com notes that the Cavaliers seem to have a pretty good idea as to when it was pilfered.

"As of this morning, Cavs’ VP of Communications Tad Carper said that there were no updates on the ongoing investigation but that they had determined the jersey was up during Monday Night’s WWE Raw event and was missing the following morning. Carper said that the Cavs are having another banner made “ASAP” with the intent to have it up for the next home game."

Well, then. Even for wrestling, it’d be pretty bizarre if this were all part of some sort of broader conspiracy storyline.
