This Funny Or Die clip probably accurately conveys the sentiments of Yankees fans today, but I have a distinct memory of that fleeting period after the 2009 playoffs when A-Rod hit .365 with 18 RBIs, the team won the World Series, and the fabled “True Yankee” nomenclature was being thrown around.
